Biography
Poldek Pfefferberg (1913-2001) survived the Holocaust and later devoted himself to preserving the memory of those lost, tirelessly ensuring the story of Oskar Schindler reached the world through the film Schindler's List and through his work with museums and educators.
He believed remembrance was a sacred obligation, and his courage and perseverance are honored at Hillside Memorial Park.
