Biography

Polina Osipenko (1907–1939) was a pioneering Soviet aviator and navigator who achieved distinction in the male-dominated field of aviation. As one of the first women to reach prominence in Soviet aviation, she demonstrated exceptional skill and courage in her flying career.

Osipenko participated in record-breaking long-distance flights and contributed to the advancement of Soviet aviation technology and capabilities.
