Biography

Prince Ferdinand Philippe, Duke of Orléans (1810–1842) was a prominent French politician and member of the royal family during the July Monarchy. As the eldest son of King Louis-Philippe I, he was heir to the French throne and played an active role in political affairs until his untimely death.
