Biography

Prince Maximilian of Hesse-Kassel was a German military officer who served with distinction in the early twentieth century. Born into the noble House of Hesse-Kassel, he pursued a military career befitting his aristocratic station.

His service to the military was cut short by his untimely death in 1914, during a period of significant change in European affairs. He was laid to rest at Kronberg Castle, reflecting his prominent family standing.
