R. Palmer Hunter

Biography

R. Palmer Hunter drew people together through community projects and quiet acts of generosity that often went unnoticed but never unappreciated. He believed that leadership was best practiced by listening, encouraging others, and helping to create space for shared efforts to thrive.

His name still echoes in the neighborhoods he nurtured, and at Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery he rests among fellow stewards of faith and fellowship.
