Biography
Rafael del Valle earned respect as a writer, teacher, and public servant whose steady presence helped shape the cultural life of Puerto Rico during the turn of the twentieth century. His literary work and public addresses were noted for their deep empathy and commitment to the island’s progress.
Fondly remembered for both his intellect and his kindness, he left a legacy of thoughtful civic engagement and now rests among the honored dead of Santa María Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery.
