Biography
Randle Barnett Barker was a career military officer whose sense of duty guided him across the years of the Edwardian Army and into the titanic struggle on the Western Front.
He saw action through the Somme and later battles, and in 1918 the trials of the spring offensives claimed him; he rests at Albert Communal Cemetery Extension amid the fields he helped defend.
