Biography
Ray Kolp carved out a solid major league career as a hard-throwing right-handed pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox, known for his durability and workmanlike approach over more than a decade on the mound.
After hanging up his glove he remained close to baseball, sharing his experience with younger players and enjoying the friendships formed along the way, and he is laid to rest at Saint Stephen Cemetery.
