Biography

Raymond Vanier (1895–1965) was a skilled aircraft pilot who helped pioneer aviation during its formative years. His career coincided with the rapid development of aeronautical technology and the increasing importance of air power in the twentieth century.

Vanier's contributions to aviation reflected the pioneering spirit of his generation. He was laid to rest in Père Lachaise Cemetery, where he is remembered among France's notable figures.
