Reinhard Keimel

Biography

Reinhard Keimel was an Austrian historian whose scholarly work contributed to the understanding of Austrian and European history. Born in 1944, he pursued historical research and study during the latter half of the twentieth century.

Keimel's historical scholarship reflected rigorous methodology and deep engagement with his subject matter. He remained active in his academic field until his death in 2021. He was laid to rest at Hernalser Friedhof.
