Biography

Rezső Milleker was a geographer whose work expanded Hungary’s understanding of its natural and human landscapes. Born in 1887, he combined fieldwork with scholarly rigor, documenting the diverse regions of the country and their unique characteristics.

His maps and writings informed scholars and planners alike, leaving a lasting contribution to geographical science before his death in 1945; he rests now at the Fiume Road Graveyard.
