Richard Busch (1883–1963) was a Czech figure whose eighty-year lifespan encompassed the final decades of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the development of the modern Czechoslovak state. He witnessed the profound transformations that reshaped Central Europe during the twentieth century.
Busch's memory is preserved at Olšany Cemetery, one of Prague's most significant burial grounds. His long life reflected the experiences of a generation that bridged the nineteenth and twentieth centuries during a time of considerable historical change.
