Richard Cary Morse, who was born in 1841, embraced a lifetime of observing and nurturing the people around him. His generous spirit, along with a sincere curiosity about the world, made him a welcome companion for neighbors and friends alike.

He passed in 1926, but his measured wisdom and dedication remain in the memories of those who knew him, upheld by the serenity of Green-Wood Cemetery.
