Biography
Richard Harašta was a Czech resident of Tuřany who lived from 1895 to 1959. He spent his life in this Moravian community during a period of significant cultural and political transformation.
Harašta witnessed the establishment of Czechoslovakia, the interwar period, and the subsequent changes that shaped Central Europe in the twentieth century. He was laid to rest in the Cemetery in Tuřany, where his memory is preserved within his native community.
