Biography

Richard W. Parker, born in 1848, was deeply rooted in the spiritual life of his community and cherished the fellowship found within the walls of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. He found great comfort in his faith and shared its lessons of compassion and stewardship with those he loved.

Richard’s thoughtful leadership extended beyond the sanctuary, as he sought to model dignity and fairness in every endeavor. He departed this life in 1923 and now rests within the grounds of St. Peter’s, where his devotion to service and his gentle wisdom are still fondly remembered.
