Robert Abney

Biography

Robert Abney was a man of the late 18th century who lived in Leicestershire during a time of agricultural and social development. Born in 1748, he was part of the local gentry and maintained his place in the community of Swepstone.

Mr. Abney passed away in 1810 and was laid to rest in the Church of St Peter in Swepstone, where his memory is preserved among the records of his parish.
