Biography

Robert Carr devoted his priesthood to the parish of Hartlebury, guiding worshippers through an era marked by industrial challenge and spiritual seeking. His sermons and pastoral visits reflected the conviction that the church should offer both solace and practical care.

At the Church of St James generations recall him as a calm shepherd who knew the joys and trials of his flock by name and who left them a legacy of prayerful attentiveness and hospitality.
