1742–1810 (age 68)
Biography
Robert Cullen devoted his professional life to the service of Scottish justice, rising to the bench as a judge and assisting in the governance of civil law.
Much respected for the equity of his decisions, he drew from a deep sense of duty until he passed in 1810, and those who followed his work recall the calm rigor he brought to the courts near Kirknewton Cemetery.
