Robert J. Kleberg

Biography

Robert J. Kleberg (1803–1888) emigrated from Germany and became a pillar of the Texas ranching community, helping to lay the foundation for the Kleberg family legacy with careful stewardship and hospitality.

He shared his experience with fellow settlers and local charities, and today his memory lies at Kleberg-Eckhardt Cemetery.
