Robert Richardson

Biography

Robert Richardson (1779–1847) was a physician devoted to the care and wellbeing of his patients across London, practicing a medicine shaped by compassion and close attention to detail. His bedside manner and steady counsel were valued by families who sought his steady hand during times of illness.

When he died, colleagues and the communities he served remembered him as a calm and dependable presence in the consulting room, and he was laid to rest at Highgate Cemetery with the gratitude of many.
