Robert Rogers

Biography

Robert Rogers was born in 1758 and lived through the American Revolution and the founding of the nation. He was part of the generation that witnessed the transformation of the American colonies into an independent republic.

Rogers passed away in 1835 at the age of 77, and was interred at Island Cemetery. His life spanned nearly eight decades of American history, and he remained a member of his island community throughout his years.
