Biography

Robertson Howard, born in 1847, was a thoughtful young man whose friendships and study nurtured a commitment to learning and brotherhood that traveled beyond his own life.

Though he died in 1899, the friendship and gentle strength he offered to classmates and neighbors live on in the quiet rows of Congressional Cemetery.
