Rodney R. Crowley

Biography

Rodney R. Crowley, born in 1836, was a figure of calm assurance whose dependability brought comfort to those around Randolph Cemetery. He approached every responsibility with resolve, taking care to treat others with fairness and to keep his word.

As age advanced he remained engaged in community life, encouraging younger neighbors to pursue their projects with determination and humility. His death in 1913 was mourned by many who remembered him as a steady friend and an unassuming guide.
