Biography

Roger Charles Sullivan, born in 1861, lived through decades of growth and transformation in the Chicago area and the communities that looked to Mount Carmel Cemetery for solace. He embraced the responsibilities of working within that evolving civic landscape while remaining true to his personal values.

He took pride in offering support to neighbors and in stewarding whatever opportunities he had to encourage community well-being, leaving behind memories of a man who valued integrity and compassion before his death in 1920.
