Roger Griswold

Biography

Roger Griswold (1762–1812) lived fifty years during a transformative period in American history. Born during the colonial era, he came of age during the Revolutionary War and lived through the establishment of the new republic.

Griswold was interred at Griswold Cemetery following his death in 1812. His life encompassed the pivotal decades that saw America transition from colonial status to independent nation.
