Biography

Roland Piquet was a brave French resistance fighter who fought against Nazi occupation during World War II. Born in 1922, he was part of the younger generation of resistants who risked their safety to oppose German forces and support the liberation of France.

Piquet's commitment to the resistance cause demonstrated remarkable courage and patriotism. He died in 1944 at just 22 years of age, sacrificing his life for his country's freedom. He is honored in the Military Square of the Saligney Cemetery in the Jura region of France, where his memory is preserved as a tribute to his heroic service.
