Biography
Romuald Śreniawa Szypiowski was a Polish historian whose scholarly contributions enriched the study of Polish history and culture. His work as a historian reflected a dedication to understanding and documenting Poland's complex historical narrative during a transformative period in the nation's development.
Szypiowski's historical research and scholarship contributed to Polish intellectual and cultural life during the twentieth century. Living from 1927 to 2003, he witnessed and studied some of Poland's most significant historical transformations. His work as a historian remains part of Poland's scholarly heritage. He was laid to rest in Rembertów Cemetery, Warsaw.
