Ron Jessie

Biography

Ron Jessie emerged from San Diego State to star as a wide receiver in the NFL, turning his track speed into big plays for the Kansas City Chiefs and later the Detroit Lions. His combination of athleticism and work ethic made him a fan favorite and a trusted teammate.

After his football career he returned to the community, coaching youth teams and encouraging student athletes to pursue education as passionately as they pursued sport.
