Rose Talbot Bullard, born in 1864, pursued medicine at a time when few women could do so, dedicating herself to caring for women and children and advocating for public health initiatives that strengthened the city.

Her gentle authority and tireless energy touched patients and colleagues alike, and she now rests at Angelus-Rosedale Cemetery where her trailblazing spirit remains an inspiration.
