Biography
Ross Bagdasarian Sr., known to millions as David Seville, transformed the recording studio into a playground of imagination, creating the mischievous Alvin and the Chipmunks and countless other songs that brightened the airwaves. He combined a comedian's wit with a songwriter's ear, crafting melodies that were at once playful and meticulously arranged.
Beyond the Chipmunk craze he maintained a deep respect for the craft of music, composing, arranging, and producing with a wit that drew smiles from families and children, and his legacy finds its rest at Chapel of the Pines Crematory.
