Rowland Day

Biography

Rowland Day was born in 1779 and lived through the founding of the United States and the early decades of the republic. His life spanned nearly three-quarters of a century of American history.

Day's life concluded in 1853, and he was buried at Indian Mound Cemetery. He is remembered as a long-lived member of his community who witnessed the nation's growth and development.
