Biography
Roy O. Disney, the older brother and co-founder of the Disney company, meticulously managed the studio's finances and operations so that Walt could focus on creative innovation.
He shepherded the opening of Disneyland and ensured the completion of Walt Disney World, and when he died in 1971 he was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, remembered for his steadfast dedication to the company and its dreamers.
