Rube Bloom found his voice as a pianist, songwriter, and arranger who brought jazz-inflected melodies and romantic lyrics to the American songbook, crafting enduring tunes like “Don’t Worry ’Bout Me” and “Fools Rush In” for stages, radio, and film. He collaborated with many of the era’s finest vocalists and instrumentalists, always striving for elegance and emotional truth in his music.
