Biography
Rudolf Jaroslav Kronbauer was a skilled photographer who captured the visual heritage of Prague during the late nineteenth century. Born in 1864, he worked during a transformative period when photography was becoming an essential medium for documenting society and culture.
Kronbauer's photographic work preserved important images of his era for posterity. He lived fifty-one years and was buried at Olšany Cemetery in 1915, leaving behind a visual legacy that continues to document the Prague of his time.
