Ruth Klüger

Biography

Ruth Klüger survived the Holocaust and emerged as a distinguished author and scholar whose memoir Still Alive offered searing insight into memory, identity, and the responsibility of reading history.

As a professor she guided students and readers through literature with clarity and compassion, leaving a legacy of testimony and teaching celebrated at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery.
