Biography

Salomon Schill was a Hungarian writer whose essays and stories quietly chronicled the hopes of his generation and the experience of a Jewish community in transition, and whose work appeared in the periodicals of the day.

He encouraged new voices, insisted on clear prose, and is laid to rest among his peers at Kozma Street Jewish Cemetery.
