Biography

Salvador Novo was a distinguished Mexican writer, intellectual, and cultural figure whose contributions shaped twentieth-century Mexican letters. Born in 1904, he became known for his literary works, essays, and keen observations of Mexican society and culture, earning recognition as one of Mexico's important intellectual voices.

He was honored with burial in Panteón Jardín, befitting his status as a major literary figure, until his death in 1974.
