Sam C. Roane

Biography

Sam C. Roane was born in 1793 and lived during the early years of the American republic. He was part of a generation that witnessed the nation's founding principles take root and develop throughout the nineteenth century.

He died in 1852 and was buried in Mount Holly Cemetery, where his legacy remains part of the community's historical record.
