Samri Baldwin

Biography

Samri Baldwin (1848–1924) lived during a time of great innovation and change, witnessing the rise of new technologies and ideas across the United States. Though not much is publicly recorded about his personal endeavors, he is remembered as part of the rich tapestry of individuals whose quiet dedication to family and community helped anchor San Francisco during its formative years.

He rests now in the San Francisco National Cemetery, where visitors can honor his memory alongside those who helped shape the city and nation through the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
