Samuel Arza Davenport

Biography

Samuel Arza Davenport entered the world in 1834 and spent his days fostering a sense of unity in Erie, whether through acts of hospitality or simply lending an ear.

He passed in 1911 and now sleeps in Erie Cemetery, remembered for the warm steadiness he offered each person he met.
