Biography

Samuel Chisholm (1836–1923) was a Scottish politician who devoted much of his life to public service and parliamentary representation. His political career spanned decades of significant change in Scotland and the United Kingdom, during which he worked to advance the interests of his constituents and contribute to national governance.

Chisholm's long life—spanning nearly nine decades—allowed him to witness and participate in the transformation of British political life. He was laid to rest in Cathcart Cemetery, a final resting place that reflects his Scottish heritage and his place within the community he served.
