Biography

Rabbi Samuel Dasberg shepherded his congregation with compassion and insight, offering guidance that drew on deep scholarship and an open heart for every member of the community. His sermons and teachings provided comfort in times of joy and sorrow, strengthening the bonds among families in Dordrecht.

He also supported charitable work, helping to sustain institutions that cared for the vulnerable; he now rests in the Jewish cemetery Dordrecht, where his memory continues to inspire those who value faith and service.
