Biography

Samuel Dinsmoor (1766–1835) committed himself to the well-being of the people around him with earnest, principled care. He was respected for his devotion to family and his willingness to extend a hand to those beginning anew in a growing land.

He lies now in Washington Cemetery, where visitors continue to recall the steady goodness he offered throughout his days.
