Samuel Miles

Biography

Samuel Miles was a man of the colonial and early American period, whose life extended from the mid-eighteenth century into the early years of the new nation. He lived through the Revolutionary War and witnessed the establishment of the United States.

Miles is remembered at Mount Moriah Cemetery, where his legacy is preserved. His life reflects the experiences of his generation during one of the most consequential periods in American history.
