Biography
Samuel Rowbotham (1816–1884) published Zetetic Astronomy, passionately advocating for the flat earth view while striving to make his theories accessible to the working classes through pamphlets and lectures.
He was cremated and his ashes are at Beckenham Crematorium and Cemetery, a reminder of his tireless, if controversial, efforts to engage the public in scientific conversation.
