Samuel Swan

Biography

Samuel Swan, whose life spanned the aftermath of the American Revolution into the mid-19th century, was a beloved figure in the Old Presbyterian community. He gave freely of his time, encouraging younger neighbors and offering thoughtful counsel to all who sought it.

He now rests in the Old Presbyterian Graveyard, where those who remember him honor the generosity and warmth he offered throughout his life.
