Biography

Samuel Wassall (1856–1927) was a dedicated military personnel whose service to his nation spanned the latter decades of the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century. His career in the armed forces reflected the values of duty, discipline, and patriotism that characterized military service during the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

Wassall's long life of service concluded in 1927, and he was interred in Thorncliffe Cemetery and Crematorium. His final resting place stands as a tribute to a man who devoted much of his life to the defense and service of his country.
