Sarah Trimmer

Biography

Sarah Trimmer earned respect as a writer and educator whose works guided countless families through the moral education of children. She devoted herself to Sunday schools and to producing books that combined lively storytelling with thoughtful guidance, helping parents and teachers encourage kindness and self-discipline.

Her memorial at St Mary's Church, South Ealing, recalls the energy with which she uplifted young readers and shepherded them toward lives of integrity.
