Biography
Saul Barkali devoted his life to nurturing young minds, guiding generations of pupils through the challenges of the early statehood years and instilling in them a love for learning and civic responsibility. His classroom became a haven of curiosity and encouragement, where children gained confidence alongside their studies.
Even after his passing in 1970, those who sat at his desk recall his steady kindness and the values he modeled, and his memory endures at Har HaMenuchot where he rests.
