Selah Tuthill

Biography

Selah Tuthill (1771–1821) was among the early residents of Marlboro whose efforts helped shape the town’s civic life. Though details of his vocation remain sparse, his presence attests to the resolve of those who forged connections in the new republic.

Laid to rest in Marlboro, his memory serves as a tribute to the many who quietly defended community and continuity during the first decades of the nation.
